The Investor Search Process
1. Investor brief. We start by understanding your sector, stage, raise size, geographic focus, and any constraints (e.g., no competitors on the cap table, strategic vs pure financial investors).
2. Universe mapping. We research the full investor universe relevant to your profile — VC funds, PE, family offices, government-backed, strategic. We then filter by investment thesis, portfolio fit, stage, and recent activity to produce a longlist of 80–120 potential investors.
3. Shortlisting and qualification. We assess each investor against fit criteria and recent deal activity to produce a curated shortlist of 30–60 priority targets, ranked by fit and accessibility.
4. Introduction strategy. For each priority investor, we identify the best introduction pathway — mutual connections, existing investors, accelerator networks, LinkedIn. Warm introductions convert at significantly higher rates than cold outreach in the UAE market.
5. Outreach management. We manage the investor outreach process — initial approach, teaser distribution, meeting coordination, follow-up, and pipeline tracking in a structured CRM. You are briefed weekly on investor pipeline status.
